Procede Teams With Interstate Billing Service For Trucking B2B Needs

Procede Software has partnered with Interstate Billing Service (IBS), which works as a full-service accounts receivable management program provider, to help with cash flow and billing solutions for the trucking industry, a company blog post says.

The partnership consists of an integration with Procede’s Excede Dealer Management System (DMS), which helps dealerships access a real-time credit Accounts Receivable pre-authorization directly from the Excede program.

Customers will benefit from this integration from better, more streamlined exchange of invoice batch files, along with payment clearing and automating credit approvals.

“Our program at Interstate Billing Service strives to be simple and user friendly,” said Steve Williams, Senior Vice President of Sales at Interstate Billing Service. “Now with an IBS integration solution through Procede, our clients will enjoy an even better user experience. The integration will be a natural benefit to our mutual clients which will open up the opportunity for exciting growth.”

Interstate Billing Service was founded in 1984 in Alabama and has grown to serve over 500 clients with annual receivables of over $2.3 billion, with an average customer base of over 100,000, the blog says.

Procede CEO Larry Kettler said the company prided itself on making partnerships that were valuable for clients in the dealership ecosystem, the blog says.

“We are very excited to expand our relationship with Interstate Billing Service (IBS), a true industry leader in Accounts Receivable management.” Kettler said, according to the blog. “This partnership will help our joint customers increase cash flow and reduce credit risk, while allowing dealerships to focus on growing their business.”

Kettler also spoke with PYMNTS recently on the role of trucking during the pandemic. He said the industry has seen more work because of the pandemic, with more delivery demands. But he said even before the pandemic, the industry was having to work with consolidating dealerships and more of a focus on digitizing AP processes to ease things for buyer-supplier relations.
